Nekohana Tarax

FINALLY! took forever to first get the basic cat body drawn, THEN to design my lil buddy here~<3

His name is Tarax, or Tara if you want to shorten it. He'll answer to either. A Dandelion based Nekohana. For those who might be confused, the things on his head are Antennae, not horns. They work much like a cat's whiskers do.

Nekohana (japanese "Neko" meaning cat, and "Hana" meaning flower.) A new adorable lil species I've created over the past few days. It's a Closed species. I've put quite a bit of thought into them so I'd like to remain the sole designer for them. I'll post up a reference for the species as a whole at a later date, but for the meantime:

Nekohana are a small fairy-like species living among plants in nature. They approximate at 1-2 inches tall (2.5-5 cm tall) Though mostly cat-like in appearance, their bodies will take on the traits of the plants they live along side. Because of their small size, it is rare for them to be spotted by a human, but not unheard of. Due to their care of the plants they live with, many humans will attempt to attract Nekohana to their homes by creating small fairy gardens with some of the more magical of plant life. Nekohana are quite smart and occasionally will entertain themselves by pulling small pranks on nearby humans.

Much like bees, Nekohana will pollinate the plants that they live with to keep their home growing. They also prey on insects, and have no qualms with taking their fill of the creatures who would otherwise devour the plants they live on. Occasionally, a Nekohana will be born with insect like wings. The most rare wing set would be flashier wings such as butterflies and some moths, as these would prevent the Nekohana from hiding as well as others of it's kind.
